Video: Holding onto humor and hope as a family caregiver

No one expects at age 28 that a spouse will be diagnosed with a fatal disease like cancer. But for Honore Nolting and her 30 year old husband Tom, they chose laughter as the best medicine to fight for their lives against a threatening late stage illness. With the worst over after 128 days of treatment, the journey of survivorship began and continues for the married couple. Honore documented her experience as a caregiver in a new and heartfelt book to help other young adults with cancer endure and triumph over their medical challenges.
