Audio & Braille Literacy Enhancement to receive three-year gift from charity group

The Real Estate Alliance for Charity (REACH) selected Audio & Braille Literacy Enhancement (ABLE) as its 2018 Charitable Giving recipient. ABLE was presented a check for $37,500, a gift of $12,500 each year for three years on January 11. Thousands of families purchased a home in 2017 with a low-cost WHEDA mortgage

The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) funded $371.2 million in single family home loans in 2017. The total represents the highest annual amount of WHEDA mortgage lending since the housing crisis hit in 2008 and marks the 6th consecutive year WHEDA has increased funding for its home loans. The $371.2 million in WHEDA home loans during 2017 is a 15.4% increase from the $321.7 million in WHEDA home loans during 2016. Scholastic art exhibition acknowledges excellence of Wisconsin youth

For the 43rd year in a row, the Milwaukee Art Museum is showcasing the best student artwork from all over Wisconsin. Artists currently in grades 7–12 will have their work displayed at the Museum from February 3 through March 18, 2018. Streetcar route alters festival footprint for 2018 Bastille Days

The 37th annual Bastille Days will return to Cathedral Square Park from July 12 to 15, using a slightly new footprint with modified boundaries in anticipation of streetcar operations.
