Fellowship.art accelerator program offers funding grants to artists

Schlitz Park office space at 100% occupancy with new corporate tenant

The developers of Schlitz Park announced on June 13 that a new business lease brought the 800,000-square-foot office complex to 100% occupancy. National General Insurance leased 31,315 square feet of space in Schlitz Park’s RiverCenter building at 1555 River Center Drive. DNR approves hearing for legal challenge to Foxconn diversion of Lake Michigan water

A legal challenge to Wisconsin’s approval of a 7 million gallon per day Great Lakes water diversion, to supply a Foxconn industrial complex, moved a step forward after the Wisconsin DNR notified Midwest Environmental Advocates that their request for a contested case hearing had been granted. Downtown Milwaukee building designated as Foxconn’s North American headquarters

Foxconn Technology Group (Foxconn) announced on June 15 that it was establishing its North American Corporate Headquarters in downtown Milwaukee, after closing on its purchase of a seven-story office building located at 611 E. Wisconsin Avenue. More than 500 employees will work at the building, which will also serve as a Foxconn Innovation Center. A nephrologist from Wisconsin, Dr. Adel Korkor ran his 37th consecutive 5K in his 37th state on June 8 at Prospect Park in Brooklyn to raise awareness for mental health. The Five Fifty Fifty Run/Walk Series for Mental Health launched on May 5 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
