Jewish voices in Milwaukee join state leaders calling for peace in Palestine

The 70th anniversary commemoration of the Nakba, or “catastrophe” in Arabic, was held on May 14 at a Lakefront rally that brought together interfaith groups in Milwaukee seeking an end to Palestinian oppression, on a day that also saw Israel kiII dozens of civilians at Gaza dead. MSO releases animated walkthrough envisioning Warner Theater space

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO) recently shared a series of animated renderings produced by Kahler Slater. The computer-generated visualization offered a tour of the new performance space at 212 W. Wisconsin Avenue. Built in 1930, the Warner Theater was acquired by MSO to be transformed into the future Milwaukee Symphony Center by the Fall of 2020. Once complete, the facility will deliver a first class experience to the public. Teens Grow Greens opens new greenhouse and experiential learning facility

Teens Grow Greens officially added the Webers Greenhouses to its program when it opened on May 5, bringing a fully functioning greenhouse for community members to purchase plants, herbs, and vegetables, and as an experiential learning facility for Teens Grow Greens interns. First Stage brings Megan McDonald’s book series “Judy Moody & Stink” to life

Based upon the wildly popular Judy Moody series of children’s books, the world premiere production of “Judy Moody & Stink: The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Treasure Hunt” opened in Milwaukee on May 4. First Stage participated in a national collaboration with seven of the country’s leading children’s theaters.
