Photo Essay: Brew City History Museum Now On Tap

Instead of a ribbon cutting, the Shops of Grand Avenue welcomed Brew City MKE with a ceremonial keg tapping on October 4.

Brew City MKE has all of the artifacts from the original Milwaukee County Historical Society’s 2016 exhibit, along with a bar that serves only Milwaukee-made beers. The museum pub will be a one-year pilot project, with the hope that more exhibits can be added over time. Brew City MKE will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

These images are from the grand opening, and a follow-up to previous coverage about the project’s construction process.
