Architect Donald Grieb honored for his contributions to Milwaukee’s landscape

County Executive Chris Abele and Milwaukee County Parks honor the life and work of architect Donald Grieb on March 16, whose architectural contributions helped shape Milwaukee’s landscape. Grieb passed away in Houston on February 25, 2018 at the age of 99. Notably, Grieb was the principal architect of one of Milwaukee’s most unique and identifiable attractions: the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, otherwise known as the Domes. The Milwaukee-based bicycle company Fyxation recently announced their business expansion with the acquisition of the Pedal Milwaukee Building at 3618 W. Pierce Street in Milwaukee’s Silver City neighborhood, adjacent to the Menomonee Valley. PAVE and Schools That Can to combine support for 80 schools with merger

Partners Advancing Values in Education (PAVE) and Schools That Can Milwaukee (STCM) announced on March 15 that the two organizations have agreed to merge, and will relaunch this fall as a new nonprofit school support organization.
