Video: Multi-cultural performances honor Dr. King’s dream

Along with the student contest winners, groups featured at the 34th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration included the Milwaukee Flyers Tumbling Team, Milwaukee High School of the Arts Jazz Ensemble, and Latino Arts Strings.

These performances were filmed on January 14 at Uihlein Hall in the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, and represent the diversity embodied in Dr. King’s dream for America. Milwaukee and Atlanta are the only cities to have celebrated Dr. King’s Birthday annually since 1984.
