UWM launches public phase of $200M fundraising campaign

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Chancellor Mark Mone announced that UWM has launched the most ambitious goal in the university’s history and double that of its last fundraising campaign, which ended in 2008 having surpassed its $100 million goal by $25 million. The Hop: Potawatomi’s $10M Streetcar sponsorship includes free rides

Mayor Tom Barrett and Rodney Ferguson, CEO of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, today on October 6 that the City of Milwaukee and the Forest County Potawatomi Community have come to an agreement whereby Potawatomi Hotel & Casino will be the presenting sponsor of the city’s streetcar system. The deal is for $10 million payable over 12 years. The parties intend to sign a letter of intent in the coming weeks with a full contract to follow.
