Time & The Mystery Podcast: Leo Manzano (Part 2)

Leo Manzano

Runner / 2X Olympian / 1500m Silver Medalist

The amount of talent, work, and grit required to qualify for the Olympics has always fascinated Mike. Despite lacking all three qualities, he had always attributed his lack of Olympic success on being vertically limited. That excuse was squashed when Mike met professional runner, two-time Olympian, 1500 meter silver medalist, and fellow human of 5’5 stature, Leo Manzano. Leo’s story is nothing short of inspirational. With mounds of raw talent and determination, Leo went from starting his running career in hiking boots and jeans to wearing his own brand of shoe, gracing the side of a coke can, and taking silver at the 2012 games in London. Leo took time from training to sit with Mike and dive into his remarkable career and life.
