Six finalists compete for Pfister’s 10th Artist-in-Residence program

The Pfister Hotel announced six finalists for the 2018-2019 Artist-in-Residence program on January 16, with public voting to begin on January 19. Lyft passengers added $10M in income to Milwaukee businesses during 2017

The 2018 Economic Impact Report released recently by Lyft highlights that the Milwaukee economy saw an additional $10 million in 2017 thanks to the growing accessibility of Lyft rides. Coming off a breakout 2017 for the company in which it expanded operations to 95% of the US population, up from 54% at the beginning of the year, the Report showcases how Lyft impacts communities in which it operates. Parks for Youths offering student activities on MLK holiday

Milwaukee County Parks is keeping its doors open for youths who are off of school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In addition to offering a public program honoring Dr. King, the Parks Recreation Section is suggesting a variety of low-cost indoor and outdoor activities.
