Photo Essay: Fermentation Fest

Fermentation Fest is an annual 10-day event that features a live culture convergence where farmers, artists, chefs, poets, cheesemakers, canners and eaters come together to celebrate food, farming and all forms of fermentation. The Farm/Art DTour is an exciting part of the Fest, with its a 50-mile self-guided backroads tour through the beautiful hills and valleys of Sauk County, Wisconsin, punctuated with temporary art installations, pasture performances, and roadside poetry.
