Multi-use recreational trail proposed for Milwaukee River Parkway

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele announced that Milwaukee County Parks will host a public information meeting presenting plans for the designation of the unpaved multi-use trail along the Milwaukee River Parkway, from West Green Tree Road to West Good Hope Road in Glendale. The open-house-style meeting will be held September 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Brown Deer Boathouse, 7835 N. Green Bay Road. The trail will provide new recreational opportunities in the northeast region of Milwaukee County. Solutions to residential flooding offered at Rainwater Reuse Fair

The Think Blue Think Green Rainwater Reuse Fair, hosted by nonprofit Milwaukee Water Commons, offers homeowners with solutions to the problem of flooded basements and streets after every heavy rain with hands-on education.
