MKE Plays gifted $100K for playground renovations

The MKE Plays initiative was presented with a $100,000 check from Potawatomi Hotel and Casino’s signature community charitable program, Heart of Canal Street, on Thursday, December 22 at City Hall. Alderman Michael J. Murphy said the donation was raised through Potawatomi Casino’s Canal Street bingo game, which ran from August 11 through December 16. Arte Para Todos to host holiday Hip-Hop benefit party

2017 fundraiser to be held on December 23 at the Cactus Club to benefit students in the community. Arte Para Todos (APT) is a volunteer driven organization working to support art education in Milwaukee schools while celebrating local artists, musicians, venues and the community.
