Broadway’s Hamilton coming to Milwaukee as part of national tour

Producer Jeffrey Seller and the Marcus Center announced that the musical Hamilton will play in Milwaukee as part of the 2019-2020 season. Chief Edward A. Flynn’s Ten Year Retrospective

The Milwaukee Police Department published a 69 page document reviewing the decade of Edward A. Flynn as Chief of Police. Highlights included excerpts from his first term Oath of Office in 2008, and his achievements of reducing crime in the city under his leadership. Wauwatosa 4th graders asked to give three good reasons for slavery

The issue of racism in education was at the center of a minor social media storm on January 9, touched off after a parent posted a photo of her son’s homework assignment. Neither the school nor the teacher were available for comment. Hunger in Milwaukee did not end with holiday charity efforts

The Milwaukee Art Museum is partnering with Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee’s free and local food bank all January, inviting visitors to donate food and make art to share with local kids and families.
