Traditional pow wow to display American Indian culture at State Fair

People of all ages and from many nations will come together during the traditional pow wow ceremony to dance, sing, and celebrate as a community. Catholic Friar Tomás González Castillo, who advocates for migrants, will kick off the Marquette Democracy Project spring series on February 28. As founder and director of La 72, a sanctuary near the Mexico-Guatemala border, Friar Tomás González Castillo is a leader of a Catholic movement to advocate for migrants in Mexico. Lawsuit filed by city aims to shut down Churchill properties

The legal complaint stated that a landlord allegedly knew widespread illegal activities were taking place on the real estate he owned. The City of Milwaukee filed a lawsuit seeking the closure and sale of 12 near south side rental properties that have been linked to widespread crіmіnаl activities, including drug sales and prоstіtutіon.
