Area universities continue expansion with Marquette’s Physician Assistant facility

Groundbreaking for the 44,000-square-foot, $18.5 million building at the northwest corner of West Clybourn Street and North 17th Street will take place on May 9 and eventually help Marquette University meet provider shortages in primary care delivery. The Physician Assistant Facility will serve as an educational hub for the program’s existing and future clinical partners, according to Paul Coogan, M.D., the program’s medical director and president of Aurora Health Care’s Emergency Medicine Division. Arte Para Todos festival kicks off fourth year of local music and art

Local musicians, venues, artists, and neighborhoods kick off a 4 day celebration of creativity and music culture in support of art programs in Milwaukee schools on April 26. Now in its fourth year, Arte Para Todos (Art for Everyone) is the largest local-music festival in Milwaukee. Milwaukee area selected for site of 2018 Para-Cycling Criterium Nationals

Organizers of the Tour of America’s Dairyland (ToAD) recently announced that USA Cycling has selected ToAD to host the 2018 Para-Cycling Criterium National Championship. The nation’s best handcyclists and physically and visually impaired cyclists will race for national titles on June 26.
